Mini Tools Power Data Recovery offers 5 archive recovery modules. They are, Undelete recovery, Damaged Partition Recovery, Lost Partition Recovery, Digital Media Recovery and CD/DVD Recovery.
To recover deleted archives, you can use Undelete Recoevery and Digital Media Recovery, both the modules allow you to recover deleted archives from hard drive, flash drive and memory cards.
When opening the program, you are required to mark the option “Iam a home user, please launch MiniTools Power Data Recovery Free Edition” and click in the “Launch Power Data Recovery FreeEdition” button to open the program.
Next, choose the module you want to use. In the following example, we will use the Undelete Recovery module, it allows a deleted files recovery on hard drives, flash drives, memory cards, and others.
In the above window, you must select the disc unit where the deleted archives that you want to recover are located and then click “Recover”. You can easily identify the disc unit by its name and size.
If you want to recover deleted archives from flash drives, memoery cards or external HDs, connect the storage device on your computer and then click “Refresh List” button in order to update the disc unities list.
Once the disk verification is finished, it will show the found deleted files. You can then, select the files you want to recover and click “Save files” button to save them.
