Big size file sharing - Reep.io

In order to allow file sharing, Reep.io uses p2p technology, this means that the file is transferred from your computer to the person that needs to receive the file computer, without intermediates.
To get started using Reep.io, you just to access the following address: www.reep.io, and drag and drop the file you want to share inside the page. Next, copy the generated link and share it with the person that will download the file.

All the receiver needs to do to get the sent file is open the link in order to establish a connection, and then click “Download”. Both the browsers must remain opened until the download conclusion.
You can follow the download progress from the page. Note that the download speed is limited by the upload speed of the sender’s internet connection.

The file transference is encrypted and optionally, you can also create a password to protect the shared file, and there’s no size or number limit of files you can share.

To summarize, Reep.io is a great option for those who want to share big files without saving in the cloud, but on the other hand, it requires you to maintain your computer and browser opened till the transference is concluded.
